1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LORA (the “Service”), an AI-powered receptionist application provided at lorahq.co.uk and operated on behalf of the service provider (“we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service (“Users”). LORA is the name of the application; lorahq.co.uk is the domain through which the Service is delivered.

2. Description of Service

LORA provides an AI-powered virtual receptionist service (“Lead Operations & Response Assistant”) that answers incoming phone calls, interacts with callers using natural language processing, manages scheduling via Google Calendar integration, and provides a dashboard for contractors to manage their calls and bookings.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By agreeing to these Terms, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the full power and authority to enter into this agreement.

4. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate, current, and complete account information
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

5. Subscriptions and Billing

5.1 Paid Plans

Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. We will clearly communicate the fees and billing terms before you subscribe. Fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated in our refund policy.

5.2 Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time through your account dashboard.

5.3 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through our third-party payment processor (Stripe). We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms. Specifically, you agree not to:

• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Attempt to bypass any security measures or access restrictions
• Use the Service to send spam, fraudulent, or misleading communications
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use the Service in a way that exceeds reasonable usage limits or degrades service for other users
• Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable laws or regulations

7. Call Recording and Consent

The Service records phone calls for quality assurance, training, and service improvement purposes. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

• You will comply with all applicable laws regarding call recording, including obtaining necessary consent from callers where required by law
• You will inform callers that calls may be recorded or monitored, as required by applicable law
• You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with telemarketing, privacy, and communications laws in your jurisdiction

8. Google Calendar Integration

The Service integrates with Google Calendar to read and create events on your behalf. By connecting your Google Calendar account:

• You grant us permission to access and modify your Google Calendar data solely for the purpose of providing the Service
• You may revoke access at any time via your Google Account settings
• Our use of Google API data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements as detailed in our Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual Property

LORA (the application), including its code, design, branding, and content, is owned by the service provider and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your business purposes during the term of your subscription.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. The AI receptionist is an automated service and should not be relied upon for emergency communications or critical business functions.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may terminate your account at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting us. Upon termination, your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.
